Would you undergo surgery with a surgeon who has a history of mental illness? Please discuss possible scenarios.

I feel as long as the Dr. is capable of performing the surgery and has many years experience,absolutely!!!

I would do my homework- checking online reviews- or speaking to some patients that may have been treated by the dr.
I always thought of drs.with many years experience in one field of surgery and checking possibly with some of their previous patients is a fair way of determining their capabilities.
